About AMD EPYC dedicated server
AMD EPYC has become the default choice for compute-dense workloads — 32 to 128 cores per socket, more memory channels than Intel, and better price-per-core across the stack. We build EPYC boxes to spec on Rome (7002), Milan (7003) and Genoa (9004) platforms.
Typical builds: single EPYC 7H12 (64c/128t at 2.6/3.3 GHz), dual EPYC 7742 (128c/256t total), EPYC 9354 (32c/64t Genoa, PCIe 5.0). All support ECC RDIMM at DDR4-3200 or DDR5-4800 depending on family. Memory topology: 8 channels per socket → 2-4× the memory bandwidth of comparable Intel builds.
Where EPYC shines: virtualization density (100+ KVM guests per box), Kubernetes clusters, ML training (large model → many parallel epochs), scientific compute, ClickHouse / DuckDB analytics on huge datasets, and any workload where core count directly translates to throughput.
Custom builds start at $1,000/mo. Provisioning 48-72 hours from part order. Send us the target workload and we'll spec the box — we'll almost always find a cheaper EPYC config than the equivalent Intel Gold/Platinum.
Frequently asked questions
Which EPYC family should I pick?
Rome (7002) — cheapest, still competitive for most workloads. Milan (7003) — best cost/perf for new deployments today. Genoa (9004) — pick if you need DDR5, PCIe 5.0, or > 64 cores per socket.
Do you have EPYC in stock or is it always custom?
Dual EPYC 7H12 and single EPYC 9354 configs available in stock in NL and UA. Everything else built to order.
Can EPYC run Windows Server?
Yes — Windows Server 2019 and 2022 are fully supported on EPYC. Same license cost as Intel per-core.
