About Ethereum node hosting

Ethereum node hosting is disk-bound and I/O-bound in equal measure. Pruned nodes fit on modest NVMe, archive nodes push 15 TB+ with sustained IOPS during reorgs. We build both — and everything in between.

Suggested configs: (a) Pruned validator node — 8 cores, 32 GB RAM, 2 TB NVMe, 1 Gbit port, from $180/mo; (b) Full archive node (geth) — 16 cores, 64 GB RAM, 4× 4 TB NVMe RAID-Z1, from $429/mo; (c) Erigon archive node — 16 cores, 64 GB RAM, 8 TB NVMe (single or pair), from $349/mo (Erigon's more efficient storage).

Storage sizing tips: as of late 2025, mainnet pruned ~1.2 TB, geth archive ~15 TB and growing ~5 TB/year, erigon archive ~4 TB and growing ~1.5 TB/year. Snapshots available from public sources — first sync takes 2-5 days for pruned, 2-3 weeks for full archive.

IPv4 + IPv6 dual-stack (P2P needs both). Full inbound TCP/UDP on port 30303. DDoS protection on all tiers. Custom firewall rules on request — no restrictions on running validator keys, staking pools, or RPC endpoints.

Frequently asked questions

Can I stake ETH from your infrastructure?

Yes — validator node hosting is explicitly welcome. We recommend running your own validator keys (not delegated) and using proven client combos like lighthouse+geth or teku+erigon.

Do you offer RPC endpoint as a service?

No — we sell the box, you run the node + RPC (Alchemy/Infura-style). But we can help spec / tune the stack for high-QPS RPC serving.

What about L2 nodes (Optimism, Arbitrum, Base)?

Yes — L2 nodes are welcome. Storage requirements similar (or lower) than L1. We've customers running full Optimism, Base and Arbitrum nodes. Send workload details for sizing.
