The Intel® Xeon® Platinum 8168 is a single-socket compute powerhouse — 24 cores at up to 3.7 GHz with AVX-512, 33 MB L3 cache, and 6 memory channels supporting up to 1 TB DDR4 ECC per socket. Ideal for compute-intensive single-node workloads.
Our stock Platinum 8168 config: 256 GB DDR4 ECC + 4× 1.92 TB NVMe. The 4 drive bays are individually configurable via our storage picker — swap any bay to 3.2 TB (+$75/mo) or 6.4 TB (+$150/mo) NVMe, or leave bays empty if you need fewer drives.
Uplinks: 1 / 10 / 20 Gbit/s unmetered (SFP+ / SFP28 optics). Full IPMI 2.0 with iDRAC 9. AVX-512 gives significant speedups for cryptography, video transcoding, and modern ML inference (INT8 quantized models).
