Emby hosting on unmetered bare-metal.

Your whole library, streamed in 4K to any device — with polished apps, Live TV and DVR. Unmetered upload so remote streaming never hits a cap, GPU NVENC transcode, and a Storage Vault backend for a library that keeps growing.

/ why it needs real iron

Why Emby needs bandwidth and a GPU.

Remote 4K without a data cap

Streaming your library to family and friends is pure upload, and home ISPs cap it hard. An unmetered 10 Gbit/s port carries dozens of concurrent 4K streams for a flat monthly price — no ISP data cap in the way.

GPU transcode, cool and cheap

On-the-fly transcodes for mixed devices and bad networks melt CPUs. An RTX PRO with NVENC handles many concurrent 4K transcodes at a fraction of the power, so streams start instantly and don't buffer.

A library that outgrows the box

Keep Emby fast on NVMe and put the media on a Storage Vault — a movie and TV library that scales into hundreds of terabytes without touching the app node.

Emby pre-installed & tuned

Emby Server deployed with the transcode temp on NVMe and hardware acceleration configured. You bring an Emby Premiere key if you want the premium features.

GPU NVENC transcode

RTX PRO GPUs on the Production and High-load tiers handle many concurrent 4K transcodes without pinning the CPU.

Unmetered upload

10 / 25 Gbit/s at flat pricing — stream to as many remote users as you like with no per-GB egress and no ISP-style data cap.

Live TV & DVR ready

Wire an HDHomeRun or an IPTV M3U/EPG source and record to NVMe or a Storage Vault.

Storage Vault library

Attach big-disk object storage as the media library and keep the app node's NVMe free for transcoding and metadata.

DDoS-protected

1.6 Tbit/s of always-on scrubbing keeps your server reachable under attack.

Emby hosting — 4K remote streaming on unmetered bandwidth + GPU

Emby turns your media collection into a private streaming service with genuinely polished apps for phones, TVs and consoles, plus Live TV and DVR. Two things decide whether a hosted Emby feels great or janky: upload bandwidth for remote playback, and transcoding power for the moments when a client can't direct-play. Home connections are weak at both.

Hostfory fixes both. Every server runs on an unmetered 10 Gbit/s (or faster) port, so streaming 4K to family and friends never hits the data cap a home ISP imposes and never costs a per-gigabyte egress fee. GPU tiers add an RTX PRO 4500 or 6000 so Emby's NVENC transcoding serves many concurrent 4K streams at a fraction of the CPU cost, and streams start instantly instead of buffering. When your library grows past local disk, attach a Storage Vault and it scales into hundreds of terabytes while Emby stays fast on NVMe.

It's a single-tenant server in the location you choose — Amsterdam, Warsaw, Kyiv or Miami — provisioned in a few hours with Emby installed and hardware transcoding configured. Pair it with a seedbox to fill the library and you have a full self-hosted media stack you control.

Emby questions, answered.

How is Emby different from Plex or Jellyfin?
All three are media servers; Emby sits between Plex and Jellyfin — very polished apps and strong Live TV/DVR, with some features behind Emby Premiere. Hardware-wise they want the same thing: unmetered upload and a GPU for transcoding, which is exactly what we provide.
Do I need Emby Premiere?
Not to run it — Emby Server is free. Premiere unlocks hardware transcoding on the official apps, mobile sync and a few extras. You bring your own Premiere key and we've already set the box up to use it.
Is the bandwidth really unmetered?
Yes — the 10 / 25 Gbit/s port runs at rated speed for a flat monthly price, no per-GB egress and no cap. Stream to as many remote users as your GPU and port allow.
How many concurrent 4K streams can it handle?
Roughly 6 on the CPU-only Starter, ~15 with an RTX PRO 4500, and 30+ with an RTX PRO 6000 — the GPU does the transcoding while the unmetered port carries the traffic.
Can I run Live TV and DVR?
Yes — connect an HDHomeRun tuner or an IPTV M3U playlist with EPG, and record to NVMe or a Storage Vault for a DVR that scales.
Where does a big library live?
On a Storage Vault attached to the server — the media scales into hundreds of terabytes on cheap object storage while Emby's NVMe stays free for transcoding and metadata.
Can I fill the library automatically?
Pair Emby with a qBittorrent seedbox on the same or a linked box — download to the shared storage and Emby picks it up. It's a common self-hosted stack here.
